When hacking the gmime git in order to fix https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668085, I set some environment variables before calling "./configure" and building notmuch: LDFLAGS="-Wl,-rpath,/home/schnouki/dev/gmime/gmime/.libs" ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc make ldd ./notmuch Regards, -- Thomas/Schnouki
