The main difference is a fix for test suite compatibility > with the just released Emacs 30.1 Meanwhile, Emacs 30.1 is beginning to land in Fedora - first in the unstable branch (rawhide), now in the branch leading to the upcoming release (F42), and soonish in released Fedora versions die to the CVE fixes in that Emacs version (and an update policy exception in Fedora). That makes me wonder whether there is a rough timeline for notmuch's release. I don't want to be pushy, I'm just asking whether it makes sense to backport the E30 fix in notmuch's test suite or notmuch release is around the corner anyways, A few more days of notmuch not building as is in Fedora won't matter, but I'd rather avoid weeks.
