There could be something triggered by running >within a (presumably) clean environment. You could try "su -l -s >/bin/bash www-data" and try your notmuch tests again. When I don't set hook_ and backup_dir, a missing $HOME variable is enough to stop notmuch. When I set both config variables, notmuch does not care about a missing $HOME. I wonder why that is; both hook and backup dir are automatically inside database.mail_root (or database.path) and don't need home at all. -- Regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen Christian Weiske -=≡ Geeking around in the name of science since 1982 ≡=- _______________________________________________ notmuch mailing list -- notmuch@notmuchmail.org To unsubscribe send an email to notmuch-leave@notmuchmail.org
