Hi Ethan, unfortunately, there is not much news. I only separate from these patches the part which synchronizes notmuch tags with maildir flags (unread, replied, etc.) [1]. It works pretty well and I use it to synchronize my mails with IMAP server. I think that these pathes are ready to be merged. What regards using git to store mails and synchronize tags, I still have plans to work in this area, but currently I have more important work to do.
