I decided to use these options in my .emacs instead though so that I don't have to affect any other programs using gpg: (setq mml2015-encrypt-to-self t) (setq mml2015-sign-with-sender t) I think it would be neater if somehow it only encrypted for your key in the local copy and not the copy it sends out on the internet though. Having fewer keys able to decrypt the message that gets out on the wire means there are less keys to worry about compromising.
