Thanks for this patch, David. Just this weekend I was attempting to demonstrate the feature of isearch auto-expanding the invisible text to my brother. I was unlucky enough that my first attempt hit a name that was split across this boundary. It seemed to me that it still matched, but it didn't automatically expand the hidden text.
