The legacy python binding module has been deprecated for almost 5
years. It is known to have unfixable memory management issues. It is
also currently causing some (fixable) issues with the Debian
builds. Rather than put time into fixing those issues, I propose to
finally do the removal, which was promised (again) in 2022. I will move
the bindings to contrib/ around Feb. 15, so people building snapshots
will have to adjust. Of course people can still build their own from
source.

To see if your python scripts need migrating, check for "import
notmuch".
