Whatever you think best; it was a subscription to a public
ML and I'm not shy about my email address, so it seems more
a question of saving resources or cleanliness/minimalism.

FWIW, I've now checked that my reproducer from
Message-ID: <20260804070639Z.2785567925-stepnem@smrk.net>
works the same with a minimized version of the message I've
put at

https://smrk.net/tmp/msg.segfault.min

(only with the obvious adjustments to the reproducer
commands, i.e.,

s/msg\.segfault/&.min/
s/1782193672-98446-mlmmj-36f22ff2@FreeBSD\.org/empty-mime-part-segfault@example.com/

)

I've also confirmed that this patch series prevents the
segfault and makes it possible to work with the original
message using notmuch, thank you!
