I'm a bit busy at work recently, but I'll take a look and resume the
effort, hopefully by ~20th July.  Out of curiosity, do you have some
kind of mentorship mechanism? One other thing I'd like to do in Emacs is
to participate in parts of the C to Elisp rewrite in order to try and
bridge a bit the gap for the various Guile-Emacs projects, and I think
having a mentor is likely to help me begin this task.
